My apologies for being gone for so long. A number of life events came up very quickly. Long story short, I got my first full time job, and within two weeks of getting said job my car engine died and I’m still in the process of getting a new one. School started again, so Abby has been busy with that. If you want to read about all this, I’ll talk a bit more in the next two paragraphs. If you want to get to the exciting stuff that is happening in the company, go ahead and skip past the line below.
I’d like to say I have been keeping up with my writing, but I really haven’t. I have no one to blame but myself, and that’s okay. I’m still learning, and the hardest thing I’m having to learn is time management. Fortunately, while progress is slow, this article is evidence of progress, so go me!
So what have I been doing in the last month or so? Well, as I said, I got my first full time job, so I’ve been working that as much as I can. Also, I have been looking for a new car. Long story short, I just started a new job, only had a few paychecks, and have very minimal amounts saved from my previous jobs, so I’m going to have to take a loan. I hate loans, and my primary goal with the full-time job was to pay off all my loans. It still is, it’s just going to take longer now. This is really stressing me out, and I am spending a lot of time researching cars so I know that I will have a reliable vehicle for the next (hopefully) 10-20 years.

So, what’s going on at the company? The important thing is I have been writing the first adventure for Hellbound, and I am about half-way done with the writing. I should note that this doesn’t mean that the adventure is half-way done, it means I have written half of the adventure. It still needs art, editing, testing, revising, testing again, revising testing again, revising, testing even more, revising even more, etc. etc. It’s on it’s way, and progress should be picking up again over the next few months.
Has there been an update on the Incoming Transmission physical release? Unfortunately, not yet… I sent an email to drivethrurpg a while ago, and they never got back to me. I’m going to have to get together with Abby and take time to figure out what the hell is going on. This requires both of us to have time, which unfortunately is not a commodity either of us has a lot of right now.
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Hellbound and Incoming Transmission are coming to Archon 2018! So, if you’ve wanted to try either game and you haven’t, come on down to Archon here -> link to event page. I will also be on a panel talking about how to be a better game master. If you’ve ever been interested in game mastering but are either afraid to start or don’t know how to get better, come hear the advice from myself and other seasoned game masters.
Well, I have officially blown up three sentences into six paragraphs (thanks highschool), so I hope you all have a good time, and I’ll see you next time!
